“I’m so happy because Yoona is with us. She’s such a busy person, you know… I see her face but it’s hard to talk with her because she’s always so tired. She’s so busy.”
This post is directed towards faded-sense (which was asked here) and the other anon who asked a similar question (but in a much more pleasant way) that I decided to answer in this post instead so it can put further questions to rest and future questions may be directed towards here. 100% of the donated money goes towards postage and the gifts. No one from yoonyul.com makes a penny off of these projects. Think about it, you guys know my full name (Lauren Watanabe). Why would I place the integrity of yoonyultv (which has been running for 3 years) on the line to support something that would be “shady”? The same goes for yoonyul.com. They have been up for 3 years and if what they were doing was considered “fishy”, don’t you think they would have been called out on it years ago?
2011 Birthday Support for Yuri (click on the links to see the gifts. The picture set on Tumblr shows that Yuri has received the items as you see her wearing some of the gifts.)

Also, we are not forcing you to donate. Donating is up to you. With each birthday project, we have a fan project to go along with (like Yuri’s bday fan project was to take pictures that somehow connect to “125” and Yoona’s 2012 project includes fans writing letters to her) which do not require a donation at all. Anyways, take it for what it’s worth. Whether you want to participate or not is entirely up to you and no one is forcing you to do it.
